Welcome to Copper Mountain!

Located a mere 10-minute drive southwest of Frisco, Copper Mountain is a relatively new resort among Northern Rockies ski destinations. Boasting a ski resort with an award-winning trail system, Copper Mountain also features a pedestrian village that is filled with eclectic shops, trendy restaurants and charming lodging options. This resort offers much more than skiing, however; it also serves as a scenic summer destination renowned for its golfing, hiking and biking opportunities. The mountain's American Eagle Chair Lift offers a birds-eye view of the surrounding peaks, as it takes passengers to a height of more than 11,000 ft (3,300 m) every weekend from May through September. Colorado's largest outdoor climbing wall, which stands 35 ft (10.7 m) tall, is also found on the mountain and offers climbing adventure during summer months. Every Labor Day weekend in September, Copper Mountain is abuzz during the Copper Country Music Fest, which features performances by some of country music's biggest stars.
